Containership rescues duo whose sailboat was sinking off Hawaii

(HONOLULU) — A containership rescued the crew of a sailboat that was sinking off Hawaii, the Honolulu Advertiser newspaper reported. The cargo ship Mineral Noble was diverted through the Amver program to respond to the mayday call about 2,000 miles south of Hawaii. The ship successfully picked up the two sailors.
