(FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla.) — A containership lost all power in the North Atlantic and is being towed to Florida, the Royal Gazette newspaper of Bermuda reported. The Bermuda Islander is a 100-meter-long vessel that suffered a major mechanical breakdown shortly after departing New Jersey. The ship is being towed to Fernandina Beach, where its cargo will be tranferred to another containership.
