(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) — ConocoPhillips plans to drill exploratory oil wells in the Arctic with a jackup rig in 2014, Reuters news serice reported. The U.S. oil company said it is building a brand new drill rig that will be designed for the weather conditions. The exploration zone is the Devils Paw area of the Chukchi Sea.
