(PORT ARTHUR, Texas) — A general cargo ship collided with a bulk carrier in Sabine Pass on Sunday, significantly damaging both vessels, Port Technology reported.
According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the cargo ship Damgracht was inbound from Italy transporting a cargo of cement when the incident occurred. The Croatian bulk carrier AP Revelin was outbound from Port Arthur.
There were no reports of injuries or pollution in the waterway. The Coast Guard and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
