(SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich.) — A bulk carrier was adrift in Lake Superior on Thursday afternoon after losing power early in the day, SooToday.com reported. The crew of the 730-foot Tim S. Dool, owned by Algoma Central Corp., spent much of the day repairing generators but propulsion was not restored. A Coast Guard spokesman said the bulker would be towed to port.
