(VANCOUVER, British Columbia) — A ferry struck a dock and was damaged Saturday after being thrown off course by gusting winds, The Province reported. Queen of Nanaimo, owned by BC Ferries, sustained damage to its propeller, shafting and hull. It will be put into dry dock for repairs and will be out of service until further notice, a company spokeswoman said.
