Bouchard introduces new logo, plans redesigned website

(MELVILLE, N.Y.) — Bouchard Transportation Co. Inc., the nation’s largest independently owned oceangoing petroleum barge company, has introduced a new corporate logo and announced current plans to launch an updated website — — before the end of the year. Both the new logo and updated website are designed by Webdesign of New York, a creative agency with an emphasis on web design and technology solutions, based in New York City.

The new corporate logo and website are a more refined representation of the Bouchard brand. “As our fleet and business continue to expand, it is important for us to have a distinguished corporate identity, and a website that is user-friendly and an informative destination for our valued customers, employees, and potential new business partners," said Danielle M. Bouchard, director of communications.

The new logo maintains the distinguished red and white corporate colors which are paired with a classic rope detail. Most importantly, it includes the company’s initials and date of incorporation to showcase Bouchard’s industry experience and longevity. The new logo is currently being slowly rolled out along all media and marketing platforms, and will be featured on the new website.

While still showcasing Bouchard’s rich history and founding identity, the redesigned website will feature a contemporary new look and user-friendly navigation. It will include the latest information in regard to Bouchard’s fleet, services, commitment to safety, recent news, and employment opportunities. The official launch is currently planned before the end of 2016.
