(CANTON, Mo.) — A barge worker is missing after falling into the Mississippi River near Gregory Landing, Nemonews.com reported. Officials say
the crewmember from the towboat Charlie G, owned by Marquette Transportation, fell overboard late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning after the vessel passed through Lock and Dam 19. The U.S. Coast Guard, Missouri Highway Patrol and Illinois Department of Natural Resources are involved in the search.
