(CHICAGO) — A construction barge sank Friday afternoon in the Chicago River as it was being loaded with river sediment, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. A spokesman for the city's Fire Department said no one was injured and no one was in the water due to the incident. River traffic was halted between the Lake and Randolph street bridges.
