(NEW LONDON, Conn.) — The National Coast Guard Museum Association has received more than $1.6 million in contributions from members of the American Waterways Operators (AWO), The Day reported. AWO donors include Kirby Corp., Ingram Barge Co., AEP River Operations, American Commercial Lines, Canal Barge Co. and McAllister Towing. The AWO's board of directors has encouraged all of its members to make a contribution to the museum planned for downtown New London.
