(MIAMI) — A fully booked Antarctic cruise was canceled after the operator said there were mechanical problems with the ship, USA Today reported on its Cruise Log blog. The Miami office of the cruise company Ponant said the vessel Le Boreal showed signs of equipment wear during an inspection and some components need to be replaced. The 15-day cruise was to depart tomorrow.
