(VANCOUVER, British Columbia) — The trustees of the Robert Allan Memorial Scholarship Trust and Robert Allan Ltd. have awarded the following scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year. The awards have been made to the following outstanding students, chosen from a highly competitive pool of well-qualified candidates:
• Alex Bishton of New Westminster, British Columbia. Bishton has a naval architecture diploma from the Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland and is currently in the final stages of a bachelor of technology degree in applied science and engineering, also through MUN. He has a strong practical interest and experience in the marine industry.

• Jack Davis of Vancouver, British Columbia. Davis is a fourth-year student in mechanical engineering at the University of Victoria, with a demonstrated strong interest in marine engineering and all aspects of the maritime industry.
• MacKenzie Lee of Cochrane, Alberta. Lee is a term four student of naval architecture at Memorial University, demonstrating an exceptionally high academic record and a strong passion for naval architecture.
Robert Allan Ltd. is very pleased to support these exemplary students in their pursuit of a career in this noble profession.
The Robert Allan Memorial Scholarship is available to students wishing to pursue a professional career in naval architecture or marine engineering. The scholarship was created in 1982 by a bequest from the late Robert F. Allan, noted Vancouver naval architect, and supported by his friends and colleagues. The scholarship fund is administered by a committee of senior principals at Robert Allan Ltd.
