With no buyer, Falls of Clyde may be scuttled off Hawaii

(HONOLULU) — The historic landmark ship Falls of Clyde may be sunk off Hawaii because its museum owner can’t afford to maintain it, the Honolulu Advertiser newspaper reported. Unless a buyer comes forward soon, the last remaining four-masted, steel-hulled, full-rigged ship will be scuttled about 15 miles off Pearl Harbor. Community activists are working to find such a buyer.
