Whale-watching boat sinks off B.C.; all 34 occupants rescued

(VICTORIA, British Columbia) — A whale-watching boat sank after striking a submerged object in the Strait of Georgia, the Victoria Times Colonist newspaper reported. All 32 passengers and two crew aboard Explorathor were rescued by a sister vessel. The boat was operated by Vancouver Whale Watch.
