(TARRYTOWN, N.Y.) — The tugboat Specialist, one of three tugs escorting a barge down the Hudson River early on March 12, sank after it struck the corner of a construction barge moored under the Tappan Zee Bridge. A video of the sinking, recorded by a worker on the construction barge, was provided to Newsday by James Forde, the attorney for Specialist's captain, Paul Amon. Amon and the tug's two other crewmen died in the accident.
