VIDEO of effort to aid Carnival Splendor, 3,300 passengers

(SAN DIEGO) — Tugboats are towing the disabled Carnival Splendor to shore to offload its 3,300 passengers, ABC News reported. The cruise ship has been without power since Monday due to an engine room fire. With few lights and no cooking, the guests are subsisting on cold relief supplies including Spam and cans of tuna.
