(OKINAWA, Japan) — The prepositioning ship USNS Sgt. Matej Kocak ran aground Thursday morning off the coast of Okinawa, CNN reported. U.S. Navy and Japanese authorities were working to refloat the 821-foot ship, which is designed to carry supplies and ammunition in support of U.S. ground troops.
