The following is the text of a news release from Un-Cruise Adventures:

(SEATTLE) — Seattle-based small ship cruise line Un-Cruise Adventures adds more river cruise opportunities in the Pacific Northwest with the SS Legacy scheduled for 34 departures on the Columbia, Snake and Willamette rivers from April-November 2015. The line is also offering a savings on fall 2014 river cruises.

An adventure savings of $400/couple is offered for bookings made by June 20, 2014. The savings is applicable for river cruises departing August-November 2014.

“The popularity of USA river cruising is growing,” said Capt. Dan Blanchard, CEO. “You don’t have to travel to Europe for a scenic, inclusive river cruise when we have one right here in the United States on the historic Columbia, Snake and Willamette Rivers. We sail round-trip from Portland, Ore., for convenient air connections.”

In 2015, the SS Legacy becomes Un-Cruise Adventures full-time river cruise boat, sailing weeklong voyages round-trip from Portland, Ore., with tours included in every port. Highlights include a jet boat tour into Hells Canyon, Multnomah Falls, Bonneville Dam, private tasting at a Washington winery, Fort Walla Walla, Maryhill Museum, Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, Astoria’s Columbia River Maritime Museum, Fort Clatsop and transit of eight locks.

The rich history of the rivers comes alive through shoreside excursions and lively on board presentations focused on Lewis and Clark’s expedition, Oregon Trail, Native Americans, early pioneers and entrepreneurs. Todd Weber, a guest expert on Lewis and Clark, joins four departures in 2015 for additional on board presentations. Singing duo Letters from Home brings their 1940s style harmonies, tap dancing and comedy to the Oct. 11, 2014 departure.

The 88-guest SS Legacy, a replica coastal steamer, emulates the steam ships found along the rivers in the early 1900s. Travelers enjoy the ambiance of an elegant coastal steamer with modern conveniences. Public spaces include an elegant Klondike Dining Room, Grand Salon with dance floor, wine bar and rollicking Pesky Barnacle Saloon. Wellness amenities include two hot tubs, a sauna, an included massage, fitness equipment and yoga on deck. An elevator connects three decks. A spacious owner’s suite with separate bedroom, a classic wet bar, dining room table and living room provides space for private gatherings, especially for families booking multiple cabins. Evening hors d’oeuvres are served en suite.

Inclusive cruises offer a comprehensive historical perspective on board and ashore with guided tours in each port combined with innovative meals; premium wine, beer and spirits; all taxes and fees and transfers. Rates begin at $3,195 per person, double occupancy.

Charters and group incentives are available. To book or to request additional information, contact your travel agent or Un-Cruise Adventures at 888-862-8881 or sales@un-cruise.com.
