Two killed when barges collide with boat on Tennessee River

(CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.) — Two fishermen were killed when their boat collided with a tow of barges in the Tennessee River, television station WTVC reported. A survivor reported that he was stuck underneath the barges, bouncing off the bottom of one them before finding daylight and escaping. He said the 16-foot motorboat was T-boned by the barge tow near Chickamauga Dam. The barges belong to Serodino Inc.
