Two crewmen injured aboard U.S. tug in storm off South Africa

(DURBAN, South Africa) — Two crewmen aboard a U.S. tugboat were injured when tow lines snapped in heavy weather off South Africa, the South Africa news Web site IOL.co.za reported. The men were injured when a wave washed over the vessel during the emergency, and two barges ran aground. The tug Thunderer was headed to Dubai with the empty barges, which are used to transport cement.
