Tugs, barge float prefab bridge down Hudson River (PHOTO)

(HUDSON, N.Y.) — Tugboats and a barge began transporting a prefabricated bridge down the Hudson River, the Register Star newspaper reported. The bridge was constructed at the Port of Coeymans for New York City, where it will be the Willis Avenue Replacement Bridge over the Harlem River. Kiewit Corporation, D.A. Collins, Weeks Marine and Mammoet Corp. are among the contractors.
