(SECAUCUS, N.J.) — A crewman was crushed to death while handling lines on a tugboat in the Hackensack River, WCBS-TV reported. The man was working on the Turecamo Girls when he attempted to tighten connections between the boat and its tow. The 50-year-old Queens, N.Y., man became tangled in the cables.
