Tug company lawsuit claims $6M for assisting Staten Island Ferry

(NEW YORK) — Henry Marine Service is seeking $6 million in compensation for assisting the Staten Island Ferry that crashed into a pier in 2003, the New York Daily News reported. The tug Dorothy J helped secure the damaged Andrew J. Barberi for four days following the fatal accident. The city claims the tugboat’s actions weren’t responsible for saving the ferry.
