Transas presents integrated technologies at Monaco Yacht Show

(MONACO) — Following the successful launch of the T-Bridge in 2014, this year Transas unveiled the integrated bridge system for megayachts at the 25th Monaco Yacht Show.

Transas T-Bridge is designed as a truly integrated solution combining all information from across the yacht for efficient decision-making and enjoyable sailing. Among many features is the unique and improved Transas Augmented Reality system developed to make digesting information easier and faster. It integrates all relevant information into one display giving you, for the first time, a full picture: sensor input from forward-looking sonar, chart data or position and route data integrated with a video of surroundings.

New technologies, new sensors and new devices have found their way onto the bridge to help the crew. Even when you are not at the bridge, Transas offers a solution to get all information to hand. The well-received iPad-based Transas Yacht Viewer offers real-time access to all navigation information with the possibility to see your current position on chart, track your tenders and toys, get access to weather information and even create new routes and share it directly with the T-Bridge.

As a special highlight, Transas presented the Navi-Planner Touch on the new 55-inch display from Hatteland with the ultra-high 4K resolution. This is a truly new experience in voyage preparation and route planning with first-class data services and tools to maximize the use of your system.

Visitors of the Transas booth could also try the Transas iSailor application. The popular chart plotter and AIS viewer is available from the App Store and Google Play and offers top-notch navigation technology already used by hundreds of thousands of sailors around the world.
