Towboats to return wayward Ohio River restaurant barge to shore

(COVINGTON, Ky.) — Patrons reported hearing loud noises that resembled gunshots just before a restaurant barge broke loose from moorings in the Ohio River, the Kentucky Enquirer newspaper reported. The barge floated 85 yards downriver and came to rest against a bridge before it was stabilized by towboats, which are on the scene today working on towing the restaurant to shore. Former NFL player Cris Collinsworth was one of the 84 people who were rescued.
