Ten people missing after abandoning liftboat disabled by Gulf storm

(HOUSTON) — Ten oil workers are missing after abandoning a liftboat that had been disabled by a storm in the Gulf of Mexico, the Houston Chronicle newspaper reported. Pemex said the crew had been aboard the Trinity II and evacuated to a lifeboat. Three of the workers are from Texas-based Geokinetics and four are from Trinity Liftboats of Louisiana. Responders cannot locate the lifeboat.
