The U.S. Maritime Administration has announced a new training agreement involving the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and the six state maritime academies. Cadets from the academies will be able to complete their sea training aboard APL Maritime Ltd. vessels trading internationally. Assignments will usually be at least 60 days.
