(CORNWALL, Ontario) — The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway’s cargo volume fell 35 percent so far this year, the Standard Freeholder newspaper reported. Ship transits were down 25 percent. Still, Seaway officials say no layoffs are planned.
