SNAME seeks papers for World Maritime Technology Conference

The following is the text of a news release from the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME):

(ALEXANDRIA, Va.) — For the first time in over a decade, the World Maritime Technology Conference (WMTC) will be held in the United States, Nov. 3-7, 2015 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence. The triennial event will be incorporated with the 2015 SNAME Maritime Convention.

As the host society, SNAME is issuing a call for papers to be presented as part of the technical program at WMTC 2015. This is a unique opportunity for industry professionals to share their insights on a wide range of issues of interest to a gathering of colleagues from more than 20 countries.

Paper abstracts are now being accepted. All submissions should be sent via Scholar One, mc.manuscriptcentral.com/wmtc2015. Queries regarding papers or the technical program in general should be directed to the WMTC 2015 Technical Program co-chairs: Roger Basu (roger.i.basu@gmail.com) or Krish Thiagarajan (krish.thiagarajan@maine.edu).
