(VACAVILLE, Calif.) — Shipyard operators are interested in potentially reopening the Mare Island graving docks, The Reporter newspaper reported. Allied Defense Recycling has been approved as a potential bidder for a lease to operate at Mare Island. The Pegasus shipbreaking company left the facility in the 1990s.
