Ship runs aground in St. Lawrence River, is able to dislodge itself

(ALEXANDRIA BAY, N.Y.) — A ship ran aground in the St. Lawrence River near Alexandria Bay, the news website Your News Now Syracuse reported. The Phoenix Star got stuck but was able to free itself and move back into open water. Authorities were inspecting the hull before it could be cleared to resume its voyage.
