(LONG BEACH, Calif.) — The Coast Guard responded to a report of the 130-foot schooner American Pride running soft aground inside Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, Calif. Thursday.
The Coast Guard dispatched a MH-65C Dolphin helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles and a 41-foot Utility Boat from Coast Guard Station Los Angeles-Long Beach to the scene to monitor the situation.
The vessel was refloated by the rising tide with no injuries reported and no signs of pollution.
