(VANCOUVER, British Columbia) — Robert Allan Ltd. (RAL) has announced that Sami Uotinen has joined this company effective Oct. 1. Uotinen is a well-known and experienced personality who has been with Rolls-Royce in Finland and British Columbia since 1996. Most recently he has been the North American sales manager for Rolls-Royce and is equally well known in North America as he is in Europe.
In his new role at Robert Allan Ltd., Uotinen will be responsible for European business development initiatives, operating from his home base in Finland. He is a graduate naval architect, and that training coupled with his broad experience with propulsion drives will greatly enhance the company’s ability to provide design solutions to meet customers' needs.
