(STAR CITY, W.Va.) — A runaway barge struck the Star City Bridge on the Monongahela River on Tuesday night, forcing a four-hour closure until the structure could be inspected, WBOY.com reported. Officials are trying to determine who owns the barge, which was carrying rock and shale. A tugboat from the Fort Martin Power Plant secured the vessel.
