(VANCOUVER, British Columbia) — The trustees of the Robert Allan Memorial Scholarship Trust and Robert Allan Ltd. are pleased to announce the award of two scholarships for the 2022/2023 academic year.
Awards have been made to the following deserving students, chosen from a large slate of well-qualified candidates:
• Paige Bodnar is in her second year of a five-year ocean and naval architectural engineering (ONAE) program at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
• Hillary Oldford is currently a fifth-year, Term 7 ONAE student at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
The Robert Allan Memorial Scholarship was created in 1981 and has been awarded every year since to deserving Canadian students of naval architecture or marine engineering. Information on the criteria for acceptance and for applications can be found on the Robert Allan Ltd. website.
