Report: Low-sulfur fuel may be causing ships to stall at sea

(WALNUT CREEK, Calif.) — The Coast Guard is investigating several report that low-sulfur fuel may be causing ships to stall, the Contra Costa Times newspaper reported. Ship operators and pilots off California say the cleaner fuel may be unfavorable to some marine engines. California authorities recently required the low-sulfur fuel at some port.
