(JACKSONVILLE, Fla.) — Pieces of a container and other debris that washed ashore in the Bahamas is from the sunken cargo ship El Faro, First Coast News reported. Part of a refrigeration unit and toiletries were first reported on a beach in the Bahamas by the Nassau Guardian. First Coast News found a serial number on the reefer and ran it through the customer tracking system on TOTE Maritime's website, confirming the identity. The National Transportation Safety Board has not confirmed that the debris is from the ship, which sank earlier this month during Hurricane Joaquin.
