(VANCOUVER, Wash.) — Ray Hickey, longtime owner of Tidewater Barge Lines, has died, the Oregonian newspaper reported. Hickey started in the business in 1951 as a deckhand and eventually worked his way up to company president. He bought the company in 1983.
