OSV brings drifting cruise ship under tow; St. John's port won't accept it back

(ST. JOHN'S, Newfoundland) — The derelict cruise ship Lyubov Orlova that was adrift near the Newfoundland oil fields is now under the control of a offshore supply vessel, The Telegraph newspaper reported. The OSV Atlantic Hawk has the empty cruise ship under tow on behalf of Transport Canada, ending the risk that the drifting vessel would pose a threat to oil platforms. The Port of St. John's, however, has declared that it will not accept the cruise ship back in its harbor.
