Ore freighter Algoisle’s line snaps, killing one crewman

(HAVRE ST. PIERRE, Quebec) — One crewman was killed when a line snapped aboard the Great Lakes freighter Algoisle, the Holland Sentinel newspaper of Holland, Mich., reported in a column. The laker was loading iron ore at Havre St. Pierre when the line broke. The incident also injured another crewman.
