(REHOBOTH BEACH, De.) — One crewman was killed in the sinking of a research boat off the Delaware coast last week, the News Journal newspaper of Wilmington reported. The Russel W. Peterson was involved in a survey of bird patterns related to a possible future offshore wind farm when a storm destabilized the vessel. The captain was rescued but a Coast Guard responder found another crewman down inside the vessel with heavy objects on top of him, with no vital signs.
