(WEEHAWKEN, N.J.) — NY Waterway is losing money and may go bankrupt this year, Crain’s New York Business reported. The ferry operator is planning to sue US Airways to recover costs incurred when its vessels and crews rescued passengers from the plane that made an emergency landing in the Hudson River. NY Waterway is in talks with government agencies to explore options to keep the ferries running.
