(WASHINGTON) — The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) announced on Thursday that search crews have located the bridge of the sunken containership El Faro, the Portland Press Herald reported. The announcement, made on Twitter at about 2:45 p.m., said the ship's voyage data recorder had not been found. The recorder is about the size of a large suitcase and was mounted on the exterior of the bridge.
