Nova Scotia officials chip in C$14.4M to save ‘hogging’ Bluenose II

(LUNENBURG, Nova Scotia) — The Bluenose II, a provincial-owned oceangoing sailing ship, has been saved by C$14.4 million in funding from Nova Scotia officials, the Chronicle Herald newspaper of Halifax reported. Bluenose II’s captain says the vessel may now undergo a major restoration of its hull to correct a “hogging” problem.
