(BISMARCK, N.D.) — The next joint high speed vessel (JHSV) will be named USNS City of Bismarck, NavalToday.com reported. Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus made the announcement during a ceremony Wednesday at the North Dakota Heritage Center in Bismarck. City of Bismarck will be the ninth JHSV built by Austal USA and will be the first ship in naval history to bear the name.
