New tugboat company spawns Fournier family feud in Maine

(PORTLAND, Maine) — Arthur Fournier, 78, has started a new tugboat company to compete against a company operated by his own son, the Portland Press Herald newspaper reported. Son Brian Fournier still runs Portland Tugboat LLC, which the family sold to McAllister Towing in 2001. Now the creation of a rival towing provider — Portland Towing and Ship Service Inc. — has triggered a family feud, including competing lawsuits.
