(STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.) — Caddell Dry Dock & Repair Co. has been awarded a $1.16 million grant from the U.S. Maritime Administration, the Staten Island Advance newspaper reported. The funding comes from the Assistance to Small Shipyards Program. The funds will allow Caddell to improve and modernize a dry dock, enable the company to make repairs to the Staten Island Ferry.
