(MIAMI) — Whether it's a pushboat, longliner, ferry or boxship, maintaining an optimal temperature is essential to an engine's performance and longevity. A keel cooler pump is no place to cut corners. That's why Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America, Inc. chose JMP Corp.'s JPR-ME5000 for seven of its heavy and continuous duty engines, and cites the company's ongoing support as the reason it continues to do so.

"JMP takes responsibility for what it sells and listens to its customers," said Ted Han, VP of engine sales, Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America Inc. "Driven by CMO 'CJ' Jeon's strong leadership, they take exceptional care in working with us and our distributors."

At 158 gph at 2,850 rpm, the JMP JPR-ME5000 bronze impeller cooling pump has 2-inch NPT in and 1.5-inch NPT out ports. Compact and lightweight, it measures 8.85 inches by 7.71 inches by 8.58 inches and weighs 34 pounds. The JMP ME5000 series with gears offers a perfect match for keel cooling applications of Mitsubishi Marine Engines' S6A3, S6B5, S6R and S6R2 series.

JMP manufactures seawater pumps and strainers, and proven quality flexible impellers for OEM and aftermarket to fit almost all recreational and commercial marine engines. They're available from a broad international network of dealers and distributors.
