(PARIS) — The mini-submarine Nautile, which became famous when it scooped up items from the Titanic wreck, is being sent to look for the missing Air France plane off Brazil, Bloomberg News reported. The Nautile, along with sister ship Victor 6000, are on their way to the area where the jetliner went missing over the Atlantic Ocean. Nautile’s former chief pilot, who lives in Greenwich, Conn., says the vessel may be searchers’ only chance to pick up the plane’s black box.
