(ONAWAY, Mich.) — Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder has named Marilyn Kapp Moran, director of business development at Moran Iron Works, to the Governor's Talent Investment Board. The GTIB is the principal private-sector policy adviser on building a strong work force system aligned with state education policies and economic development goals.
The GTIB plays a vital role in bringing citizen involvement, engagement and oversight to the state's talent enhancement effort, and serves as a catalyst for economic development entities.
In addition to her role with MIW, Moran also serves as president of the board of directors for the Industrial Arts Institute.
